As mentioned, the constructivism model allows learners to construct the game’s meaning based on previous encounters and experiences. Most of the learners have at one point watched football in their fields or even on the media or even played football themselves. Most students appeared to know how the game operates and how the players play and score against each other. The increased understanding of the game influenced the students to work collaboratively and collectively in analyzing the concepts of the game. At some point, they did not require the help or guidance of the teaching as they almost had all the needed information regarding football. They appeared to have more knowledge compared to their trainer. They keep asking questions and giving feedback, further illustrating their previous knowledge of the game. Perhaps this knowledge can be attributed to the game’s popularity in almost all regions of the world. Therefore, I believe that the model was appropriate and highly effective in boosting students’ involvement and participation in the details of the game.

I think that this was the most suitable teaching model and that no other model could have performed better than it. However, it is essential to consider some limitations that may arise from its usage. For instance, this approach can lead to those students who have no idea about the game being ignored. As stated earlier, most students know how the football game operates. However, not all of them have this knowledge. Therefore, using this approach, there is a high probability of the knowledgeable students taking the entire platform of the learning process and intimidating those who do not know. The result is that the less-knowledgeable students will be unable to participate and not learn any new information about the sport. Therefore, the teacher must introduce new teaching methods such as comprehensive question-based learning to enquire from all students whether they understand the game. This will prevent the less knowledgeable students from being left out during the learning session.
